  • Hibs win first SWPL title in 18 years! From BBC Scotland: Hibernian head coach Grant Scott nailed it when he said his side had survived “broken bodies” to win a shock SWPL title against Rangers at Ibrox. The squad had to dig about as deep as any squad could in their quest for unlikely glory. But they did it. The walking wounded won the league at Ibrox. “We’ve pushed them to the absolute limit,” Scott told BBC Scotland. “There’s some broken bodies out there, and in the dugout and the stands. In this modern era of Scottish women’s football – it’s a massive achievement.”

  • Scotland have exited the 2024 European Football Championships in Germany at the group stage after a largely disappointing campaign. Hopes were high that Scotland could make the knockout stages of a major mens football tournament for the first time but all three matches were to end in relatively uninspiring performances for The Tartan army who travelled in large numbers.

  • Scotland’s first appearance at a major mens finals in 23 years has ended after the group stage of Euro 2020. After a disappointing first result where Scotland were defeated 2-0 by The Czech Republic, honour and good feeling was restored by a creditable 0-0 draw with England at Wembley. That result set Scotland and Croatia up for a winner take all head-to-head where the victor would progress to the knockout stages of the tournament.
